Its founder, Kunio Tsuchiya, started making school bags out of his desire to provide children with genuine products, as it is the first bag they will ever hold. The handiwork of these quality-obsessed craftsmen continues to be carefully passed down to the next generation, even as the company grows. These durable and beautiful school bags were made using over 150 parts and more than 300 processes, including material selection, cutting, laminating, and sewing.
As Tsuchiya Kaban’s reputation grew, more and more parents who came to purchase school bags asked for their own bags, and around the year 2000, the company began producing bags for adults as well.
