Description
The Komon pattern is distinct for its fine repeated pattern that looks plain from a distance. The design feels stylish and modern and has been used for kimono in Japan through the ages. We printed the Komon pattern on the gauze side. The terry loop side was woven with Uchino's Original Zero Twist yarn for a fluffy and soft texture that will absorb moisture at a touch. The gauze and terry loop double face makes it easy to dry and increase in comfort with use.

Bringing the world a lifestyle with a comfortable touch
Established in 1947, Uchino has expanded its towel business around the world, with towels that comfortably resonate with the five senses, including the “Blissful Towel” which boasts a unique texture woven from the world’s rarest ultra-fine thread, the “Miracle Towel Super Marshmallow” which wraps you in blissful softness like a fluffy marshmallow, and the “Gauze and Pile” which features the different materials of gauze and pile in a single towel. They have produced numerous world-first, Japan-made towels which enrich daily life.
Today, we find towels to be indispensable to our daily lives, but when the company was first established they were quite expensive and unfamiliar. For more than half a century, the company has a history of creating innovative products that anticipate the needs of the times. The list of new commercial products goes on and on, from sports towels in 1970, to towel mufflers in 1983 and towel handkerchiefs in 1984, etc.
While values may change with the times, the commitment to ethical manufacturing in consideration of the environment, and being gentle on the skin as an everyday product have remained unchanged. Many products have achieved the world’s highest level safety standards of the most rigorous “Class 1” certification under the “Oeko-Tex Standard 100,” and are also recommended by the Japan Atopic Dermatitis Patients Association.
Today, the company has a lineup of products with patented materials for the time from bath time to sleep time, with towels, bathrobes, slippers, and pajamas, etc., and is evolving into a lifestyle brand. The company continues sending a friendly touch to lifestyles around the world by exhibiting at overseas exhibitions and enhancing their global sales base.
